Block Grouping and Selection Issue

Hello, hi,
I just notice you can only select and group stuff inside the viewed frame; the moment a block isn't shown in the control panel menu, you also can't multi select it. (Left Shift + Left Mouse & Control + Left Mouse)
Combined with the inability to add two groups together or even properly select them, this leads down to a mess of organization. (They expand and can't be put together)
Please just make it work like in SE1 or any other file browser for that matter. Thank you.

It should be now possible to select / multi-select a block that isn't shown in the Control Panel. Could you please confirm that is the case for you?
