Ladder Bars

I was thinking if ladders are going to get added to the game at any point, I'd had the idea of instead of making full ladder blocks (like the modded ones in SE1) to have 0.5mm ladder rungs that function as a ladder when close enough together. This could even have the functionality of being able to tether yourself to one of the rungs similar to what real astronauts use for spacewalks. I'm not expecting this any time soon as I imagine there would be a lot of obstacles in the way of this but I do think it would be a good addition to the game.
