  • Upgradeable Blocks: Implement blocks that can be leveled up when you have the necessary resources. This would also help limit the number of blocks in the building inventory, as they can be upgraded instead.
  • Dedicated Ship Reactor: Introduce a new reactor specifically designed for ships, which includes jump drive capabilities and can be enhanced with extension blocks like jump drives and cooling systems. This reactor could be a central feature in the ship's engineering room, with a build limit of one. Additionally, it could be made highly explosive if it overheats or gets damaged. Upgrading the reactor could also provide an end-game upgrade to offer extra shield protection around it.
  • AI Bots: Incorporate AI bots that can repair or upgrade blocks on the exterior of the ship, provided you have the necessary resources. To add a challenge, AI bots would require maintenance and could have a timeout when under attack. This would make it easier to maintain large ships with various shapes.
  • Exterior Block Shields: Implement shields for exterior blocks based on special storage power cells that need to be charged. These shields can only be charged when not under attack, with a build limit of one but upgradable. This would help avoid damage from unexpected or minor collisions.
  • Introducing a versatile elevator that can move in all directions within a ship, powered by the ship's energy. This feature would provide quick and easy access to various decks on large ships and accommodate multiple users simultaneously.
