On an asteriod i made a platform. Then i surrounded a pillar with blocks to hold it in place. I then detached the blocks that were tehnically holding the pillar to the platform. The pillar was not "detached" and the game thinks the pillar is still somehow connected to the platform. I say that because i tried to move it by placing a thruster on it, and it doesn't move one bit.
for replication, i built from asteriod upwards. The platform first. then something to hold the pillar like half slabs. then removing whatever holds the pillars while they should be held by half slabs. Then attaching a thruster and full blast it.
My guess would be that the game thinks that by building from the asteroid, whatever is built, even if detaches later on, is connected, and therefore can't freefloat, even if it should.
Hello AmigoTaco_,
Blocks should now affected by physics after disconnecting from a static grid. Could you please confirm that is the case for you?
