Momentum is incorrectly refrenced on local space and not Global space
Not a Bug
Ships that have lingering momentum seem to reference only local space and not global space. This can be seen in the video bellow.
A simple ship with all thrusters in all directions except for backwards is used.
- Thrust forward and then stop thrusting.
- While coasting now, start to slowly turn your ship
- Notice how you can now have a thruster facing the original direction where you where going but the movement is relative to your local rotation and orientation vs globally as you would expect.
I would expect the ship to cancel out the momentum when one of the thrusters got closer inline with the momentum vector.
