Building blocks not shoving up

Hi!
The issue consists of building blocks not shoving up while building, can't palce them down, after quickly changing block types, or starting a new grid and placing a block there it fixes itself. It isn't a very frustrating bug, but it might be good to know of, for fixing it in the future. Maybe there is something im not realizing? Please share your thoughts!

Quick update, it turns out that the blocks are just fine, somehow the game fails to recognize the ship as a whole, it cannot be selected, copied or saved either
