QWERTZ reading as QWERTY
Not a Bug
!!!!! Linux system, unsure whether this is also important under windows
so yeah, se2 registers my qwertz keyboard as a qwerty, so the undo / redo actions are the wrong way around and i have to press y for dampeners.

Yup, same here, on Windows.

Hello Windgott,
This behaviour is as expected as both SE and SE2 do not support QWERTZ keyboard layout (Internal ticket SE2-19546). Please note that keybind remapping will be available in future releases which should alleviate the lack of QWERTZ layout support.
Kind Regards,

Yes, but this is not the same behaviour as in SE1. In SE1 the keys mentioned on screen (z for dampners) are the same ones I have to press on the keyboard. In SE2 the locations of the keys are kept, so to trigger the action the game says will be triggered by pressing z, I have to press y.
This probably is an issue at the key mapping level, taking the location of the key instead of the key name.
