When you just entered the game - its ok, there is a flame. But if you play a bit, since one moment there is no flameout, just a highlight. But the engine is working in fact.

Also sparks which show your moving direction in space disappeared. If you reenter the game - works again.

I've also experienced this issue in yesterday's play session. Bug seems to affect most block and tool vfx. In addition to missing hydrogen flame on my ships thrusters, I got no flame on my welder and my drill didn't have any sparks or other particle effects when drill voxels. A save and reload from main menu didn't fix it either though a full reboot of the game did.

Subject: Thruster particle effects disappearing (Critical visual bug)

Currently, the thruster particle effects are still disappearing. While hotfixes are being released, and some mission-breaking bugs can be bypassed using the debug menu (Ctrl+F12), this particular issue cannot be fixed on the user end without an official patch.

Disappearing thruster effects severely ruins the core aesthetics of space travel, which is a major part of the game's experience. Please look into this issue and fix it as soon as possible.

Update on the issue / Steps to reproduce:

I have confirmed that this bug occurs guaranteed after opening the map in the player menu; immediately after doing so, the thruster visual effects disappear.

Additionally, this might also be triggered right after placing a "GPS" waypoint on the map.
