infinite ice bug

I found a bug where in one of my space ship there is 126 ice, and whenever i put it into my inventory, it doesp ut it into my inventory but keeps it in the o2 generator, giving infinite ammount of ice.I have no idea why it happens.

i couldnt see from the second ship, was there an additional container it was connected to that had ice in it? or was it connected to a container that had access to ice?
the "main rig" that you first went to, looked to obviously have over 3t of ice. so you could have filled your inventory with at least that much, 126kg at a time.
you arent showing us enough in that clip to get a real idea of how persistant it is.
i would recomend ensuring the generator doesnt have ice to draw from in connected containers before jumping to "i can supply the world with snowcones!"

I don’t think it is unlimited, I think the stations just have unlimited power/hydrogen/oxygen when they have those parts. If they have an H2O2 machine it will take it from any container attached to the base, including your ship inventory. Anytime you take it from the base’s H2O2 it then grabs it from your ship inventory if it is on a connected port. Hence make sure your ship is not connected first and then try and drag it directly to your character inventory.
If you drag it from base to ship you might notice that it grabs it back, and it will be noticed more if you turn your H2O2 off and set your tanks to fill, as the ice will be pulled out of your ship inventory despite the generator being off.
Likewise if a station does not have oxygen/ hydrogen tanks, then when you use the survival kit on the station it will not fill the O2 or H2 except if your ship has them.
Like really the bug is that the NPC station/ships have unlimited power/hydrogen/oxygen that can also loot your ship of it since the stations technically have zero.
The station looting your ship of ice is another manifestation of it.

Please try with your Space Ship disconnected from any other Grid. As others mentioned above, the first Ship you are accessing the Inventory screen has more than 3000 Ice in it. Ships connected through Conveyor system will share resources.

I tried to do it with the ship disconnected and it didnt do it anymore. i didnt know it automaticly takes that ice from containers.

Roger, I will close this thread then. Please note that materials (Ores and Components) will be shared to any Block connected by Conveyor system if they are needed.
For example: A Ship with a Smelter connected via Connector to a base will take resources needed to complete its production queue if they are available in the base.
