hinges resetting velocity

I think i found a bug. I got three hinges grouped and I am reversing the velocity with a timer block. The velocity I sat was to slow, so i raised the velocity of the group, but when i activate the timer block the velocity is set back to the old value.
After a game reset, this group is working now, but i have now the same issue with another group of hinges.

Hi there, I am trying to adjust the Velocity of 2 hinges so that 2 blocks meet at the same time but nah, the hinges go back to there own setting.
Tried all sorts for a couple of hours now I am forced to give in .
