No Audio in Cutscenes

Need More Information

I used to have no cutscenes at all. Now I at least have them, but they have no audio at all so I can't tell what's going on. I have audio when the brother's talk outside of the cutscenes (after, or between contracts, for example), but when there is a cutscene all of my audio stops until it is over.

I have this issue. Its a real bummer with the new update. No ide what's going on. Subtitles might also be a good idea.

Hello Engineers,

Does this issue still occurs on current Game version: 2.3.0.2798? Have you tried verifying Game files through Steam?

Seems to be fixed now. When I created a new game, I had sound in the opening cutscene, which I did not have after the update.

I still have issue with the sound,

it's like the sound is being cut off.

This is still an issue.

I have verified the game files.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled SE2.
I have updated my sound drivers.
Updated Graphics drivers.
Run all windows updates.

It is not just the opening cutscene, but also when accepting a contract, there is no sound in any following cutscene. All gameplay sounds seem to be fine.

Hello Engineers,

Please try deleting the AppData folder in here:

Please backup your Blueprints and Saved Games before deleting this folder!

C:\Users\(your_username)\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers2
