Crash: Tried to CUT a grid (to delete it)

Josh shared this bug 20 days ago
Need More Information

I was trying to delete a broken grid that fell off a project.

This item was sitting on an absolutely MASSIVE platform I built for testing on Verdure.

Upon that platform are multiple grids in dev. Some of these are massive in their own right.

Not sure if I miss aimed and CUT the platform? That might do it. Not sure. The grid I was aiming at was a deformed cube attached to a probably damaged rotor head. Nothing major. I assume the platform below it was damaged right there too.

Is there a LOG file I can upload?

Hello Josh,

You can find the Game logs here:

  • In Windows Search type "%appdata%"
  • Go to C:\Users\(your_username)\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers2\Temp\Logs

They will look like this:

sounds like a bug ive encountered where deleting connectors between two grids causes a crash. just in this case, the connector is the subgrid rotor.
