Cant complete mission renegate sabotage

Evgeny shared this bug 20 days ago
Solved

Built conveyer and control seat. Run the missile. Then destroyed other targets. The task (aim) is still here - on the control seat.

Hello Evgeny,

I could not reproduce this issue on Game version 2.3.0.2780 - I can complete the Sabotage - Renegade Suppression Contract without any issues. It may be that your download got corrupted at some point. Please verify your Game files through Steam and try to complete the Contract again.

Additionally, are you playing on a new Save (created in 2.3) or in older Save?

Let me know if this helps.

Hello Evgeny,

Unfortunately, we don't have a way to apply new content such as new planets or moons to already existing Games as it often requires changing the definitions for world generation. Thus as stated in our Live Stream - a new Game is required to experience all the new features of the Vertical Slice 2.3.

It is an old save from the very begining of the game. I tried to do this mission several times, but i cant complete. Only Abandon is available on contract machine. So, i arrive to mission. It is said i should destroy enemy targets. Also it offered to use missile. I repair control seat, conveyer to missile, put some ice into missile. Then just disconnect connector. Missile flies and destroys enemy gatling. Then i destroy other targets. And aims to enemy disappear. But aim on control seat is still exist. Whats wrong? Btw. I checked game files - it is ok. Btw. There is one more bug - blueprint for cargo container 2,5m disappeared. Now i cant build it, and do other missions - i will make new issue report about it.

I found solution. I didnt got close enough to mission objective. So aims to control seat and enemy targets didnt appear yet. Instead it i flow direct to renegate and destroyed all non-marked target. Mission was completed. I returned to station and claimed reward.

I have exactly the same problem. But in my case I'm using a new world that I've created after last VS update. And I've just verified game files integrity before today's playing session.

I've finished all blocks and launched the missile. I've also destroyed every functional block on that enemy base with a fighter. But I have only target on the control seat that would not disappear. So this contract is still buggy.

Same bug here. With the last version.

I just abandonned the mission and started again. this time it works...

Did you launch the missile on the second attempt? Or did you just use the figher?

Great! I abandoned this contract and made it again. Now I have no targets at all, But it is still not completed...

And on a third attempt - same result. I did all step by step, finish the control seat, finish the conveyers, add ice, launch the missile, then finish fighter and destroy the rest of the blocks, I did even park the fighter back to the connector. Nothing helps.

I think I'm gonna skip this one with debug menu. The contract is broken!

Build v2.3.0.2798

I have this same issue. I built a new combat ship and flew to the base. I have completed all objective - launched the missile, though it didn't destroy the turret - destroyed the assemblers that were targets, and even completely shredded the base. I used the fighter from the mission. The mission is not recognizing that the objectives are completed and not advancing to the next step.

I have started a new game as recommended in the patch notes, so this should be a fresh save.

Last time I ran into this issue, in the previous release, I had to cancel and redo the mission 3 times before it would complete successfully.

See attached screenshot.

I will be cancelling this mission and trying again.

Had to cancel 2 more times. Succeeded on the third retry.

I also have the same problem but figured I would come back to it.
