BBex shared this bug 40 days ago
Solved

Actions:

1. Open Grid Control Panel

2. Select Event Controller

3. Set Parameter to "Block Piston Distance" or "Block Hinge Angle"

4. Add Block Piston or Hinge

5. Set Comparison Mode to "Greater Than"

6. Set Compared value to anything but 0.0

7. Click somewhere or press enter

8. Close Grid Screen (x)

Issue:

The "Compared Value" is not saved or resets to 0.0

Hello BBex,

I have reported this issue internally and attached this thread to our internal ticket (SE2-34003).

Please note that the Compared Value is not saved only when it is the only change made in the Event Controller terminal before closing the terminal. Switching to another block and back to the EC causes the Compared Value to be saved correctly

This in my case is completely false. It reverts to 0.0 No matter what, No matter whether I read a Battery charge % or a piston length. When having one or multiple pistons using AND or OR binary logic ro when changing the comparator function or the Silent mode in tandem or just only the compared value. For mee it ALWAYS resets back to 0.0

Hello Engineers,

This issue has been fixed on an upcoming Vertical Slice 2.4. As such, I will close this thread.

Happy Engineering!
