Drill audio continues long after drills stop

On both personal drills and ship-based drills (at least the 2.5M ones) the drill sounds continue to go long after the drilling has stopped. Clicking the drill button shuts them off, but this audio continuation feels like an error. I'm on a windows PC with plenty of powerful hardware and updated drivers.

I've experienced it as well, although with both the hand drill, electrical sounds, assembly machine/smelter where the sound just continues playing even when production is stopped and I've moved kilometers away.
Happened during my very first session with the campaign.

This issue should be already fixed as of current Game version: 2.3.0.2798. Could you please confirm that is the case for you?
