game keeps crashing when leaving excavation
Solved
after completing excavation contract and trying to fly to space, when ship gets to ~0.7 gravity the game CTDs.
this is second time played through contracts and had no crashes then.

I have the same bug
just an update and observation; I played all the contracts with no crashes the first time, then on the second play through after finishing verdure contracts windows had a big update and that's when I came back into the game all my reported crashes started happening. I started a new play through and have finished all the contracts again, and built on my base at the free platform with nary a problem or crashes.
I don't know if this info helps you but something windows did killed my save of that run through.
