Pistons and rotors cannot be adjusted.
Need More Information
Whenever you try to adjust the speed, position or height of the piston/rotor, the value is often not applied, or only after multiple attempts or direct input.
Furthermore, the status of the individual mechanical blocks is not visible in the menu. You never know the position of the rotor or piston because it isn't displayed.

Adjusting the Velocity of both Rotors and Pistons no longer needs several attempts on current Game version: 2.2.0.2116. Could you please confirm that is the case for you?
