Phantom Power Modules - Character glitch?

I remove power cells from my inventory using right click. I then wanted to push them away, but my character ghosts through them, doing a little dancing while colliding/sharing the same space as the power modules. I can collect the power modules back into my inventory and remove them again, same thing happens. Video attached.

This happens every time I remove power modules from inventory. Even the power modules that I released into space days ago. The attached video is from power modules just released into space and show how the character's arm and legs react to passing through the power cells. Note that ships can push the power cells, it appears to be an issue with the character.
