Latest 2 Hotfixes hogging resources

Hi,
The major update to VS2.2 was fine. Since the first hotfix dropped, the game has been sluggish. video lags, command keys like F etc have to be pushed a couple times before the game notices. Just trying to walk or fly is wildly slow.
Also, the drill noise continues after I stop drilling. I have to give it a quick blip to get it to stop.
Not sure if a video will capture it, but I'll try, and will update this post

Here's two clips of the performance lag. I wanna emphasize there was none of this prior to the hotfixes, and this is after a total restart of the computer, and nothing else is running.
