Random crash while flying with a ship attached

Hi,
I got a random crash in the middle of space with nothing around me while flying from the survival uranium facility back to the kermik station, with a mining ship attached on top of my main ship. The ship was powered off and only attached on the roof through its landing gears. Might not be related to this, but since physics seem a bit shaky in that configuration, I thought it might be related, though I've been flying like that for a while without issues (other than the main ship being hard to control).
