Reactor not accepting uranium in inventory

I constructed a new 7.5m Reactor at the Starter Platform to consume some uranium ore. I have 150 units of ore.
When I connect the reactor to storage using conveyors or try to drop the ore through any of the import ports (top, bottom, back), the reactor is not accepting any uranium. The inventory shows red as if the item is not valid.
In missions, I was able to drop the ore directly into the reactor to have it provide power. The reactor is powered on.
Grinding down and rebuilding the reactor also does not fix the issue.
I tried straight connectors, connector nodes and even a small 2.5m storage container. Nothing is working.

Ahh never mind. The reactor uses Enriched Uranium, which is produced in the Refinery.
Either smaller reactors use the raw ore, or the missions are using the wrong item. If the missions are using the wrong item, you might want to modify them to include steps to have the Space Engineer refine the ore prior to feed it to the reactors.
The conveyor system also doesn't seem to be feeding Enriched Uranium from the Refinery to the Reactor, even though I can drag and drop between them.

Like you I have tried both from storage direct into refinery and placing it directly into the reactor, with both uranium and Enriched Uranium. Every place I have read it says the reactor changes Uranium to Uranium ingots and that isn't currently an option on the items list it can make for fuel for the reactor. Its sort of like the sorters for conveyors, they are there but it does say on them that they are (Non-Functional). So for the time being it looks like we have solar panels only to charge batteries for power since windmills isn't in game yet either but wind may not be implemented either. In a way it isn't to bad with conveyors because at least you can start setting up your base/ship instead of guessing what size each piece will be even though the output on things don't currently work like the smelter, assembler, etc but you can still use them to create the part but they will take things from storage to create them just not return the finished product back to storage.
