Welding and grinding not always working
Submitted
I find that welding stops sometimes on a block after going from project to the first build state. I then have to look around the block to find a side that it will work on.
A similar thing occasionally happens with grinding where the current face of the block will not grind yet one of the block faces will.

I have the same bug
I've also had the grinding jitter when attempting to grind while floating in space. It will start and stop rapidly and the progress bar doesn't change. This is due to the part either floating away or rotating the only section that will grind away from the grinder.

It feels like the welder and grinder need a bit more range from 1st person POV.
It also seems that only certain points on blocks can actually be welded up or ground down, I think maybe the contact points (where the block faces actually connect to the grid).
For example, a large pane of glass doesn't want to weld up if you aim near the middle, but will often weld up effortlessly if you weld the frame/contact faces.
I kinda wish the welder and grinder target the hit box, rather than whatever it is they try to target. Makes welding and grinding very tedious.

Yes, the hit box for the grinder and welder seems pretty wonky. Sometimes it works like expected, but sometimes you really can't get the tool to hit the block at all. It's not even the range of the tool. You can even be crouching and literally right next to the block, and it still won't connect.
If the grid you are trying to grind, is moving, then it's almost impossible to hit.
