Issues with Blueprint Spawning and Alignment on Planetary Surfaces
Submitted
When attempting to place blueprints on planetary surfaces, several critical issues arise. Small terrain features like trees and rocks consistently interfere with placement, making it difficult to position structures accurately. Additionally, there is a persistent problem with proper alignment — most structures cannot be placed flat on the ground correctly, resulting in unstable or incorrectly oriented builds.
I have the same bug
I’ve attached a video that clearly shows how difficult it is to place a house on a planet’s surface: sometimes it ends up inside the ground and immediately explodes it, creating holes in the terrain; other times it’s simply impossible to place the house on the ground so that the blocks act as a foundation; sometimes the house appears a few meters above the ground, automatically turning it into a spaceship; and occasionally the blueprint flies off somewhere far away from the player.

Here is another video clearly demonstrating how difficult it is to place a structure on the ground.

As for trees/rocks, you can destroy them with drill LMB (or grinder?). Maybe it's a gameplay element.

In version VS2.2, small and large stones on the terrain prevent placing large base blueprints. Even when the area looks suitable for deployment, scattered stones block the construction zone — the game highlights the affected blocks in red, showing they can’t be placed. This makes it impossible to deploy big base layouts without first clearing every single stone manually, which is extremely time‑consuming. I’ve attached a video showing how stones disrupt the placement of a large base blueprint.
