Refuel ship objective doesn't progress if ship is fueled before objective is started

Shaggydog shared this bug 21 days ago
Reported

Steps:

1. Progress through the scenario to the Hydrogen Testing Facility.

2. After repairing the conveyors, remove the ice from the facility

3. Progress to weather station.

4. Before repairing the ship, put the ice from step 2 into the cargo of the hydrogen ship

5. Repair the ship, and progress to the ice cave, and extract the 2000kg of ice.

6. Return to the weather station, and put the 2000kg of ice into the ship.

ACTUAL RESULT:

The mission does not recognize that the hydrogen ship is refueled and will not progress to the next step.

NOTE:

I expect it triggers the condition for advancement of the refueling step before getting to that step, so probably can't re-trigger it.

I put ice in the ship when it asked me to. Progress does not update. Ship is now full of Hydrogen, but mission does not progress.

I put my leftover ice into the ship before mission asked me to

I guess that voided the triggerpoint

Now I can add as much Ice as I want and it will not trigger...

Is there a hidden "set gamestage" command?

I fixed it in my save by switching the Hydrogen Tank to Discharge in the control panel

also had powered off the h2/o2 generator but don't think it matters it matters (learned after I crashed the ship and loaded the save from before i fixed the ship)

I hope this helps other who get stuck

I got the ice before i went to the ice mine and it bricked it, but like Dani said, go in the cockpit, and power off for a bit, and power back on, should fix it.

I soft locked this mission by partially fueling the ship and them flying it to the ice mine to finish. If its so locked to that path then the ship should not be able be interacted with until the mission triggers and should not be flyable until the mission is complete.

I went back in and was able to get passed it by cycling ship power.

Hello Engineers,

This is a known issue and is already reported internally. I have added this thread to our internal ticket (SE2-29038).
