Lost controls after exiting cockpit

I exited a cockpit and was stuck in a seated position with no controls. I could still interact with grids, but and character movement and building controls did nothing. Entering and exiting the cockpit again didn't fix. Restarting the game and loading that world reset the character pose and brought back the ability to build but I still have no movement controls. I am slowly drifting away from the asteroids with no way back T-T
Edit - entering a cockpit again put me back into a permanent seated position and removed the ability to build. I am no longer drifting but I'm still stuck. I've added a video to try and demonstrate the issue.

Exiting the Cockpit should no longer cause the Engineer to be stuck in seated position. Could you please confirm that is the case for you?
