Negative mouse value

If the object is rotating and you turn the mouse in the opposite direction, there is no way to return the mouse to the center, the value goes into minus. Also, in some cases, the animation of the legs breaks.

Another annoying thing is that the tooltips don't allow you to move to the next tab when you quickly select.

Does this issue still occurs for you? Please note that you can now return the camera to default position by double pressing Alt key.

Yes. It's just as bad. The problem is that if you turn the mouse in the opposite direction of the object's rotation, you can no longer return to the center position. Your advice only allows you to center the camera, but does not allow you to control it further.
