[Feature Request] Dynamic SOS Distress System & NPC Safety Net (Revised)

Core Overview

A system that allows stranded players to broadcast a special SOS Distress Beacon. This beacon alerts nearby players or triggers a response from unhostile NPC factions. However, it is a double-edged sword: broadcasting your coordinates carries a massive risk of attracting enemies.

The Mechanics

1. The SOS Broadcast: A player triggers an SOS via the chat console or a terminal block button, broadcasting their exact coordinates.

2. Player Responses & The Truce Mechanic:

• Friendlies: Receive a direct waypoint to the stranded player.

• Neutrals: Accepting the rescue waypoint enforces a temporary non-aggression pact (Truce Contract) so neither player can ambush the other.

3. The 20-Minute NPC Safety Net:

• If a player is immobilized and no player signatures are nearby for 20 minutes, an NPC Faction ship spawns to rescue them.

• Reputation Dependency: This only works if you have a neutral or friendly reputation with that faction. They may charge Space Credits or resources for fuel/repairs.

The Fatal Flaw: Risk & Enemy Aggro (New!)

• The Danger Zone: An SOS signal does not filter out enemies. If you broadcast an SOS in a hostile sector, nearby Enemy Players or Hostile NPC Pirates will see the signal too.

• The Trap: If you have aggravated every faction on the server, no one is coming to save you. Instead, broadcasting an SOS will likely draw hostile drones or pirate fleets directly to your defenseless grid.

• Strategic Choice: Players must carefully evaluate their surroundings and sector history before hitting the panic button, ensuring the system isn't just an "easy escape" from bad positioning. This was made using AI not all of it I had the main idea it's also to mainly help people who are stranded in space in the game
