Merge Block Disconnect Causing Weapon Targeting to Fail [Public Beta Mar 3 2020]
I have a 10,000 PCU ship with four merge blocks that connect 1,000 PCU torpedoes to the main grid (think weapon pylons on aircraft). After I disconnect a torpedo from the main ship grid, the weapon turrets connected to the main ship will not fire at enemies or neutrals. Not every gun will fail to fire; there are a total of 10 missile turrets and 8 gatling turrets and the most recent weapon failure affected all but three gatling turrets.
Grinding and rewelding the guns has no effect. All guns had ammo both in their inventories and conveyored. the grid was powered, targeting options were set properly, the guns were on, and a server restart resolved the issue until another torpedo was disconnected.
