Max objects on SP
Not a Bug
You can determine the number of max floating Objects in the advanced Section of the Save. This number is not coherent with the actual number ingame. with 54 objects as the default setting, there are way less than half which are actually left in the world, before it starts to delete them.
Just mine and let them on the ground, count them.
