PS4 Version Constant Crashes After Latest Update Unable to Play Any Mode
After this latest update, my game won’t start any mode at all — neither singleplayer nor servers (not even official ones). I’ve tried everything: reinstalling the game, rebuilding the PS4 database, clearing the game cache, restarting my router, troubleshooting my internet connection, and even factory resetting my PS4. None of it worked.
Whenever I try to join a server, the loading gets stuck around 44%, gives an error, and sends me back to the game menu. If the loading reaches 50%, the game crashes. When I try to start a singleplayer world, the game crashes. When I try to customize my character, the game crashes. Every single time, it crashes during the loading screen.
This same issue had already happened when I first discovered the game years ago. I came back a few weeks ago and everything was working relatively fine, but this latest update broke something.

Hello, I have some good news. The game is currently connecting very well. It now connects to the servers successfully almost 100% of the time on the first try.
However, over the last few days, at least for us Brazilians on the US#2 server, we've been experiencing a lot of ping instability.
I'd like to explain everything step by step because I don't believe it was only the latest update that improved the server connections.
For about two weeks after creating that support topic, I still had a lot of trouble connecting to the servers. Then, the connections gradually started improving, although they were still nowhere near as good as they are now.
Around that time, I also started buying the DLCs. When the latest PlayStation sale happened, I bought almost all of them, and I noticed that the connection improved dramatically.
I don't know if there's something about playing the vanilla version of the game that conflicts with server connections and is somehow resolved when the DLCs are installed. But the latest update definitely also helped improve connectivity.

P.S. The Brazilian community would really love to have a Brazilian server. We're currently playing PvP with 180–200 ms ping. 😂🖤
