New 5x5 platform with connector (structural block) from Economy 2 pack not passing through items

I’m on PS5 and I got the new Economy 2 pack the day it dropped because I was super excited for all the new blocks. I’m new to the game and have been building in creative mode, because I like building ships. I put on the new 5 x 5 platform with the connector in the middle on a ship that I’ve been working on. I went to go test out to make sure the conveyors were all working and supplies (ice, ammunition, ore, etc.) were getting where they needed to go, and realized that nothing was leaving the connector. I double checked all of my tubes and conveyors, and confirmed that they are all working with a regular connector. I also pasted the ship in a survival save that I have for testing some of my builds. I’ve put a conveyor underneath and I’ve put a straight conveyor tube and a straight reinforced conveyor tube underneath it, and it is still not working. I figure I must be doing something wrong since I have searched the Internet to see if this has been a problem. I posted on Reddit and someone did a quick test to confirm. Happening on PC as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

new platform connector bug

hi all, I think I found a bug in the new platform connector structural block (5x5). If I store ore, ice, or ingots in it, these objects will not reach refineries, o2/h2 generators, and assemblers automatically. You can only move these objects manually.

Items in new 5x5 Structural Platform with Connector are ignored by production blocks

Started a new never surrender scenario with economy enabled. When ores or materials needed for production blocks are placed into the new 5x5 Structural Platform with Connector they are never pulled from the block. I have to manually pull items out of those connectors and into other storage for the materials to be seen. Its similar to how materials are pulled by a survival kit are never pulled by a refinery.

Structural Platform Connector inventory ignored by automatic push/pull.

While playing in survival(offline mode) I noticed ore placed in a Structural Platform Connector's inventory wasn't being pulled by the refineries. To verify I created a new empty world(also offline) and placed a "platform connector", a battery, a regular connector, all refinery variants and all assembler variants, making sure all were connected properly.

When ore was placed in the "platform connector" it wasn't pulled by the refineries, but when placed in the regular connector it was immediately pulled as intended. Ingots and components were likewise ignored by the assemblers when placed in the "platform connector" and pulled when placed in the regular connector for both assembling and disassembling queues.

With further testing I have also concluded that inventory items isn't being pushed to the "platform connector" either. The test scenario involved connecting only a drill to the "platform connector" and mine stone, the drill's inventory filled up completely without pushing any of it.

I too have this issue. The issue only appears to happen with the 5x5 structural platform connector. They're not being drained by my conveyor sorters but the standard 1x1 connectors are, even though they're connected to the same conveyor system?

I will try to do that this evening around 8pm EDT. I’ll be doing it from a PS5 and I’ve never done anything like this before. So bare with me as I’m doing my best lol

I have the same issue. If I place anything in the "Inventory" of the "5x5 structural platform connector" it is stuck there and cannot be drained by converters or refineries, however if i connect a regular connector to the side of the platform and put the items there it works. See save attached.
