Space engineers crashes when you try to create an online world using the private or Friends mode

Could you please let us know if it's happening in a specific save or any world? Are any mods being used? Could you also let us know what PS4 system error message you're seeing, if any?

Could you please submit a log for us? Please follow these steps:

  • Reproduce the issue by starting a new Earth Planet world without mods in the Online mode
  • Restart the game after the crash
  • Navigate to the Help Screen via F1 or Triangle button from the Main Menu or Pause Menu
  • Select the Send Log tab
  • Fill any information in the text field and press Send Log
  • Post the same information you've put in the text field into this thread so we can find your log file

I am unable to recreate the bug that causes the game to crash when trying to create an online world using friend or private world types for the sandbox home system scenarios with default settings should I still send the logs and try to replicate the bug

I replicated the bug it has an error message of CE-34878-0 on ps4 I'm also sending the logs under ps4 online crash

I used the sandbox home system scenario with base settings and no mods the only thing that is changed is the online mode like private or friends. I have managed to get a world to load without crashing but it usually takes a couple of tries to load past 20% or 50%

Should I try and load into the save I made and try sending the logs?

If you're experiencing issues only with a specific save, please publish that save to mod.io and share a log from it as well.

I have uploaded the save to mod.io under the title of survival online.and just sent a log with the name of survival online bug?

I have updated to the new version and there is still a bug. I wanted to see of it was a save issue by making a new world with no settings other than the online type changed to friends or private and it load till 20% than crashes. Also when I did get into the save I tried to invite a friend on another ps4 and their game crashes trying to load the world with the same error message (CE-34878-0)

The scenarios type I tried was the sandbox home system scenario in survival with no mods,base settings and either friends or private online modes

Thank you for the information. This most likely indicates corrupted data.

We can recommend the following steps:

  • Turn the console fully off and unplug it from power for at least one minute
  • Reinstall the game, including deleting Saved Data fully(this is important). To preserve your saves/blueprints/scripts you can publish them to mod.io(private visibility is also available if needed)
  • If previous steps haven't helped, try rebuilding the database by following the steps in this PS guide:

  • If all else fails, reset your PS4 to the factory settings using Initialize PS4.

I have done the first two instructions and am waiting for the download to complete it should be done in an hour or so i will reply if something does not work

Yes the game still crashes when trying to create a public world creative or survival I have also tried to join one of keens official public servers but the game still crashes

There's one more step we can recommend. Please try fully restarting the router to which your console is connected. Unplug the power cord and wait for at least 30 seconds and then let it fully boot.

I have tried restarting my router and unplugging it but the bug is still there. The world that I made loads till 20% or 88% and then crashes still base settings and is either private,public or friends. The game works normally when playing offline survival or creative

When experiencing the PlayStation System Crash on PS4 you should be able to enter feedback in the field with the text "Please explain the problem(optional)" after pressing the Report Problem button. In that field please enter this exact text so we can find your crash data in the PlayStation report system: "Keen Crash Report PS4 for QA".
