"Direct connect" option is missing from the PS5 version of the game.
Not a Bug
The option to directly connect to a URL or IP is missing.
I am hosting my own dedicated server on my PC. When I connect from my PS5, the connection pointlessly goes out to the Internet, to EOS and back again.
Please add feature parity for connections to IP so that I can just directly connect through my local network and reduce my latency by 10000%

We can confirm that this behavior is not a bug and is intended. At this time there's no option for direct console connection to Dedicated Servers.
We can recommend creating a feedback ticket instead.
