Constant lag i require help

Need More Information

Dear SE team,

I have mentioned and made reports on this but it hasnt been solved nor have i been helped to ressolve the issue. the last time i made a report it got dismissed after 4 days due to (no mod support) i am very happy to turn off the mods to show that the issue is still there

I havent been playing space engineers anymore because it is unplayable with this constant lag

I am on the ps5 on a singleplayer game

I have textures on my ships and building

and i got weapon mods and npc mods, both of which do not cause any lag as im not using the weaponry and the npc dont over spawn or nothing

I have my setting on 7km PERFROMANCE FRIENDLY i got the standard amount of animal and block spawns

Please help because i want to play this game again and not get dismissed while i remain having a serious issue

There are a couple moments like this where there is a very soft lag that is barely noticeable

And then eventually it there is a lag like this and a lag that genuinely makes me wait 5 seconds with a 1 sec being able to move and then wait 5 sec again

I got no clue what to do but it is unplayable during the lag

Could you please publish a world where issues are present for you to mod.io and share a link in this thread? Please make sure no mods used in the world.

How do i upload the link here?

Ive uploaded it to mod io and for some reason its actually a mod now? Called home and the tags are world and experimental by triplefighterhd

Unfortunately we've been unable to reproduce the issue on our side using the world you've provided.

Could you please submit a log for us?

Reproduce the issue until lag is observed

In the Pause Menu press triangle

Select Send Log tab

Enter some information into the window and press Send Log

Enter the same information in this thread so we can find your logs in our internal system

I also have this issue. The longer I play the game the worse the spikes of lag become. Eventually reaching a point after an hour of so of play where I must restart the system to continue.

It’s as if the game fills the available ram and won’t clear old data.

Im glad your experiencing the same issue and its not just me are you on playstation?

I get a little lag in the beginning which keeps getting worse but eventually it remains steady lag but very unplayable ive sadly not played space engineers ever since the lag

Fortunately i have absolute minor lag without mods right now and unfortunately i dont have any clue about the previous times. I have noticed thay with mods the lag is worsened alot more and i hope there will be some support for that eventually (ive only added weapon mods)

Other than that thank you for the help SE team i hope the lag stays gone
