Mouse input on PS5 dosent work

Need More Information

My mouse, that works for all my other PS5 games, dosent work with space engineers. I have tried unplugging and replussing the mouse in, i have reset my PS5 and tried tones of other options and im just womdering if there are any more possible options that i could try. In addition both my keyboard and mouse worked sucessfuly on the space engineers version on my xbox yet only the keyboard works on my PS5.

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues.

Could you please let us know which mouse you're using? Is it wired or wireless? Is it not working in Space Engineers completely, including the Main Menu? Is the mouse visible in PS menu in Accessories?

I’m using the Razer deathadder elite as the mouse. It shows that it’s registered on the PlayStation and the same mouse works to play other games on that PlayStation yet still fails to work at all in any of the space engineers applications, including the menu.

Let's verify that it's not a hardware issue. Could you please try a different mouse with Space Engineers specifically?

Ive tried it and it still dosent work. The keyboard is the only working device on the space engineers. Wheras both devices work on other games such as Fortnite. Its only Space engineers so far where the issue occurs, I dont have too many other games.

We're sorry to hear that. Could you please try these steps:

  • Start the game with both mouse and keyboard plugged
  • After the game is started, switch mouse and keyboard USB ports on the console
  • Press the PS button on the controller
  • Select Accessories and observe if both Keyboard and Mouse are listed
