Hello, Engineer!

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues. Could you please let us know more about the issue? Does it happen with a handheld ore detector or a grid? If it happens with a grid, can you still detect ore with a handheld or vice-versa? If the issue is with grids, please provide a world by publishing to mod.io and sharing a link.

Kind Regards

Hi there, it was happening with both sizes of grid and handheld, i have managed to fix it with one-off my restart attempts of my game and it has fixed itself, I tried turning grids on and off, turning off experimental and creating 3 new saves to be sure, none of them had working ore detection until after the restart attempt that worked

Hello, Engineer!

As step one let's check that you have signals correctly set. Toggle the Radial Menu with the right stick and scroll to the View tab. Select the bottom section and set to Default mode.

Please let us know if this helped.

As its already fixed now no can't give a live test but this was my process;

Checked all modes of signal display: full density, normal density and then none and cycled back to normal

Created new worlds and turned off experimental, tried using the preset earthlike and went to the ice lake below the moon and used a fully powered Ore detector on large grid and nothing showed. I also attempted spawning in vowels of ores and checked with both a grid Ore detector and the ine with the hand held drill and nothing was showing.

After this I attempted restarting my game and then they were working again for grids and hand held

Hello Engineer,

We're happy to hear that the issue is resolved on your side. If the issue reappears, please let us know what actions preceded it. For example playing in worlds with mods, changing settings or any other actions that could affect the tools, like running out of energy.
