Lag/Low FPS/Freeze during ship battles PS5

Not a Bug

So my first experience with this was during the mission The First Jump.

The cataclysmic crash/destruction that happens in Mission 1 with the shuttle while docked at the space station happens intensely, but then slow and choppy.

This happens every time I have replayed it. Later, in Mission 3 when there is a space battle it slows to a slide show and becomes very laggy as well.

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues. Could you please tell us if you have the experimental mode disabled? Could you please check that your console is well vented and isn't overheating?

Yes experimental mode is disabled and I am having no overheating issues. I live in the Pacific Northwest too and it’s pretty cool now.

Could you please provide us a video of the issue? Please enable the diagnostics overlay by connecting a keyboard to your console and pressing SHIFT+F11 and then record the video.

Please make sure overlay is visible and not covered by, for example, Goodbot window.

In trying to record it it seems to have fixed itself. Not sure what that was. I did delete a large video from my PS5, but otherwise not sure?
