How to play with my son on two playstations?

Solved

Hello.

I would like to teach my son engineering solutions =) I have two consoles, PS4 and PS5. Both are connected to my PlayStation network profile so that all games are available.

I created an online game on PS5 but PS4 does not see this online game. I created another profile on PS4 and tried to join an online game on PS5 but for some reason his joystick turned off after he entered the game. I tried another joystick but got the same result. At the same time, I saw a message in Space Engineers that my son was online.

Please tell me the solution.

Hello!

Thank you for contacting us. Since this is a question about the game version on the specific system, I'm moving your ticket to our consoles support page, where our consoles dedicated QA team will take care of you.

Kind Regards

Hello, Engineer!

There are two types of multiplayer available in Space Engineers. There are Lobby games, hosted by one of the players, or Dedicated Servers, hosted on a server.

To create a Lobby game, simply select your preferred Custom Game from the New Game screen and set it to Public, Private or Friends mode. Then open Join Game/Games tab on the other console and you should see the game if it's in Public mode or Friends mode and your accounts are friends on PSN.

You can also send an invite from the first console by opening the Players menu in-game. To open the Players menu, press the right stick and scroll to the Menu tab via R2 and select the Menu tab.

Another option is to explore Dedicated Servers on both consoles.

Please let us know if you experience any issues creating or joining the game.

Kind Regards,
