Turn off Meteor Storm and Voxel Reset

On the PS5 and single player, is there a way to turn off the Meteor Storm ? I was play in Normal but changed it to Safe environment.
Is there a method to reset the Voxels without using the Voxel hand tool ? The Meteor craters are increasing the game save size and generally making a mess of terrain.

You can also change the Asteroid Amount setting in the Advanced. Voxels can be reset by the Trash Removal system. If there are no players or grids within certain distances for a certain time, voxel will be reset. We believe the default values on consoles are: Distance from player-1000m, Distance from grid- 3000m, Voxel age- 24min.
