Ship wont convert back to ship

Won't Fix

I play on the ps5 on Eos Us 11. Player name Ravin_Bunii. I am currently trying figure out why i cant turn my ship back to a ship. I turned it into station to conserve fuel since blueprint didn't come with landing gears. Now it refuses to turn back to ship. Already checked through discord. Got suggestions that didnt work. Server restart didn't fix either. I am so confused at this point. It was able to switch before. Its not stuck in ground either. This is a short video showing that i cant

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues. Could you please tell us if your ship contains any subgrids? Could you please publish a blueprint of your ship to mod.io and share a link in this thread?

Yea it has no subgrids. Its also not my blueprint cause i used this one

Only thing different is i added a door and replaced sloped window to stairs and added a glass floor in one spot to make interior airtight. Other than that its all the same

Unfortunately we've had no success reproducing the issue with the blueprint you've linked. We will need a blueprint of the specific grid you've used in the state it was when the issue occurred. It is possible it has something to do not with the composition of the blocks but with the state of them, for example if drives or railguns were recharging at the time.

Hello Engineer,


Unfortunately there's no reason that we can see as to why this specific grid would be unable to switch to ship. It is possible that some of the turrets located on the bottom or sides could be intersecting with the voxel as their collisions are slightly different to the visual. Could you please try removing voxel around the turrets more or removing the turret blocks?

It didnt help. Im also not the only one with this problem. According to your discord some others have same issue

I have decided to just tear it down and rebuild it into something else. Since its being difficult to figure out. Thanks for trying to help

Thank you for letting us know. We'd like to point out that turret collisions extend past the turret visuals and could be the cause of the issue. We're aiming to address that in a future update.

We will close this ticket in the meantime.
