Space engineers save problem
Hi, sorry I don't know if you are the right people to talk to about this but here goes.
I bought S.E on ps5 played for a good while then restarted once I got the hang of it.
Then a couple of hours in to game I keep getting an error about not enough space or something and to remove saves and blueprints to make it right..
So I delete all but one save and it worked for a while then same error..
So I delete all saves I don't have any blueprints and experimental mode is off so no mods..
I'm about 20 hours into building a base on an asteroid and all of a sudden I cannot save any further progress.. no errors or anything.. I build a platform and half of a ship save my game and turn off ..when I go to continue game the little picture of my half built ship and platform is there but as soon as I hit continue the picture changes back to the 20 hour mark and loads that save before I built ship and platform...I'm now stuck with a game I can't play because I can't save progress...hope you can help

Hello Engineers,
We're currently investigating the issue. We can recommend using publishing saved games to mod.io to retain them and then deleting the whole saved data as a temporary solution.
We can confirm that the limit for game's saved data is 1.08Gb. It is intentional and a PlayStation requirement.

Thanks I deleted all saves from ps save utility. 982mb.. deleted and reinstalled the game and started again it seems to have sorted it for now....

Hi again ...I started a save again 2 days ago ..I have 1 save on 1 asteroid with 1 small ship and can't save again after certain point... A 952mb save file for an asteroid with a couple of solar panels and refinery ..assembler and battery no buildings and a small ship. Will this be sorted or should I just write the money of and delete the game as I can't play it..

Today we are releasing a hotfix (your game version will not change), for PlayStation 5 (PlayStation 4 version will be released later). We ask everyone who has problems saving on this console to please update. Please clear your local data before running it. Beware, you will also lose any (old) existing saves by doing this.
Procedure:
- Settings/Storage/Saved data/PS5 games/
- Select Delete
- Select the Space Engineers and press the Delete button
It is necessary to start from the beginning. This should prevent any recurrence of this issue.
This update should fix the gradual increase of save file size when saving repeatedly.
Please let us know if continue to experience any issues. Thank you for your continued patience, and for working through this process with us.
