Base disappeared under the ground
Won't Fix
Just logged back in the server and our base is under the ground with full of stone. Just like our base is inside an asteroid or something. We destroyed our chambers and spawn points and after that we respawn back on earth in our ship with survival kit. Watching the spot where our base should be and we see nothing. our base effectively spawned underground so we lost everything. how can such a thing happen. my rover was on a platform on my base and now it's just standing in the grass
Hello Engineer,
We are aware of the issue, however it's very rarely reproduced. If you could help us narrow down the reproduction steps, it would be great. We'd need to be able to reliably reproduce the issue to report it.
Could you tell us more about the state you left the base in? Was it powered? Were there any players near it? Did it have safe zones enabled? When you were teleported under the surface, could you move? Could you see any visual artifacts like the surface from underneath?
In the meantime, should such an issue happen again for you, you can contact the server administrators and ask them to recover the grid for you.
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Hello, the base was powered up, I logged in that morning and everything was normal. I had just built a ship. my friend came online little bit later when i was offline again. he logged out of his bed but forgot to manually save "/save" so he logged back in to do that. he did while the game was still "streaming" then. went offline again after saving. in the evening I came back and so I was in my cryo chamber. I was in my base but I immediately realized that this is a completely different location. there was no gravity and everything floated. At first I thought I was in space. I turned on the admin commands and flew out of our base. at the top I saw the gps coordinates and we were 60 KM away from our current base on the surface. So I was underground in the middle of the earth. our whole base was surrounded by stone, just as if our base were in a stone. we had to drill everything out to get out. so I flew up to our base 60KM away. I arrived and our base was effectively teleported underground. my rover that was on the base just stood in the grass. luckily I still had a blueprint of our base so I was able to restore it.

Hello Engineer,
Understood. Unfortunately we'd need reliable reproduction steps and it sounds like a one-time occurrence. Should the issue repeat, would you be able to create a server save and post it in this thread? It would really help us reproduce the issue.
In the meantime you can also use admin tools to cut the misplaced grid and paste it on the surface.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
