PS4 Crash During Load

Won't Fix

Hello all,

Every single world that I start on this game reaches a point where it will no longer load. This has happened with 3 different worlds. I will go to load the world and the loading screen will progress to 100%, then the entire game crashes and takes me back to the PS4 home screen. I am not playing with any mods or anything like that. This is extremely frustrating as I am putting in time on survival worlds and keep having to start from scratch over and over and over again. Please help.

Hello Engineer,

Are crashes happening on servers you've already played on or new servers upon the first attempt to join as well?

Could you please send us logs?

To send logs, you can follow those steps:

Reproduce the issue and restart the game immediately after the crash
Press triangle on gamepad or F1 on keyboard in the Main Menu or Pause Menu to open Help screen
Open section Report issue
Fill up email address (required) and description (optional)
Press ‘Send report’ to send it
Update this thread with details filled in the report for us to be able to identify it. Please don't forget this step as we cannot find your logs without it.

I'll get the logs sent next time I'm on the PS4. Basically what's happening is I'm starting custom worlds on my own account (no mods or anything like that enabled). I can play them for a few days and then after a few days of gameplay, whenever I try to log in to those worlds, I can select them and get to the loading screen for that world. The percentage progress will get up to 100% and then the entire app will give me the "blue screen" crash and take me back to the PS4 home screen. I can still send the logs next time I'm on the Playstation but figured I'd give you that context to see if it helps in the meantime.

I sent the report with the following included in the details section: "Custom worlds work for a few days then will ultimately start to cause game to crash when trying to load back in. Every time the load progress will reach 100% and then the entire game crashes. I have an open support ticket on your site and these logs are being sent at your request".
