I log out of my friends game and lose everything in my inventory

Hi I've been logging out of my friends game correctly and when I join back the item in my inventory like bottles and elite tools are all gone even my friend lost the stuff he made too idk if this is a bug or we are somehow doing something wrong

could you please tell us if your player remains in the place you left it when this issue happens? To us it sounds like your character is dying. Could you confirm if you're playing on the Survival mode? If yes, are you leaving your player in a cockpit/crypod or any other area with air and energy?
