Live character crashes the game when trying to enter the server

BRUNO MICHAEL SANTOS DE ARAUJO shared this bug 18 months ago
Won't Fix

After hours of game play the game crashed every time I tried to join the server. Solution: If the logout is long, do not leave the character in a cryogenic chamber, cockpit or with oxygen and energy supply. If it is a momentary server disconnection, wait for the character to die, as this will make the loading successful without crashing. If disconnected with the character inside a cockpit or environment with oxygen and energy, face the crash hell, or wait for the ship or structure to unload so that the character dies and this allows loading. If the structure has enough energy, gameplay on that server will no longer be viable until this bug is fixed.

Hello Engineer,

We've received your logs.

Could you please also tell us more about the issue? How long was the pause between logging out in the cryo chamber and re-logging in? Did you turn off the console after logging out?

Thank you.

Hello, the problem works as follows: If during gameplay for some reason I am disconnected from the server and I try to return to the server with the character still alive, the game crashes, so I just have to wait for the character to die and then the game loads normally with the character appearing in the survival kit, so the time between logout and login does not matter, what matters in this case is if the character is already dead or not at relogin. turning off or restarting the console does not solve the problem, the only solution I found so far would be: When disconnecting from the server, do not leave the character with life support, as this leaves the character alive and when returning to the server, the game crashes. I replicated this problem on two servers, 7 and 9, on server 7 my character is in a cryogenic chamber and I simply can't play on that server anymore, I even managed to log in to it recently but I left the character in the chamber again and I logged out and when I returned the crash occurs countless times again. So I restarted on server 9, after assembling the minimum structure, I left the character in a cockpit attached to an oxygen tank to test whether the problem was with the cryogenic chamber, I logged out and then logged back in and the game crashed. Luckily I managed to log in on the fourth attempt and whenever I play now, when I leave the server I don't leave the character with life support, and regardless of the time I spend without playing, when I return to the game I can log in normally without crashing, the character has already died and then respawns in the survival kit. In short, in every server relogin the character must have died, and I don't know why, the respawn in the survival kit makes the game load without problems. This issue does not occur in solo mode. In my case it is a playstation 4 slim.
