Long time opening build menu

Solved

I asked for help on the discord and was recommended to submit a ticket so here's my issue:

I am on a ps4 pro and have connected a keyboard and mouse to obtain the added benefits, however when i attempt to open the build menu using g, the game freezes for about 10 seconds (not total freeze the game audio and visuals still play i just cannot move) i do not have any mods downloaded. thank you for your time
