Meine Bugmeldung auf PS5 vom 17.05.2023
Hallo,
hatte ja gemeldet, das Space Engineers iwann keine Speicherstände mehr auf der PS5 anlegen will. Obwohl ich aus dem Game heraus Spielstände gelöscht habe (angezeigt werden Ingame 3 Speicherstände a 0,5 MB Größe), zeigt der Speicher der PS5 eine Gesamtgröße des Speicherstandes von 1,5 GB an.
Zum Glück habe cih die Ultimate und somit auch Zugriff auf die PS4 Version, die man ja auch auf der PS5 installieren kann. Kurz gesagt, ich habe es gemacht und folgendes festgestellt, da die PS5 Speicherstände getrennt ablegt. Also PS5 Speicherstände auf der internen Festplatte unter PS5 und PS4 Speicherstände auf der internen FP unter PS4. Lässt man sich die PS4 Speicherstände auf der PS5 internen Festplatte anzeigen, kann man sich dort auch ganz einfach anzeigen lassen, was alles in dem Spielstand gespeichert wurde, was für PS5 Speicherstände nicht möglich ist.
Auf der PS4 habe ich nun Ingame mehrere Speicherstände im Spiel angelegt und aus dem Spiel heraus auch wieder gelöscht. Übrig blieben lt. Anzeige im Spiel 2 Speicherstände a 0,4 MB angezeigt. Soweit so gut. Nun habe ich mir anzeigen lassen, was im Speicher der PS4 zu finden ist. Dort wurden, neben den Speidcherstand der Settings mit 5,25 MB und den 2 erwähnten Spielständen (ebenfalls mit 5,25 MB), auch die gelöschten Speicherstände mit jeweils 5,25 MB angezeigt. Das müsste eigentlich bedeuten, das Speicherstände, die man aus dem Spiel heraus lösvht, auf der PS5-Konsole nicht gelöschjt werden, sondern angesammelt werden. Für die PS4-Version kein Problem, man kann die Speicherstände einzeln löschen.
Für die PS5-Version ein großes Problem, da man sich dort die einzelnen Speicherstände nicht anzeigen lassen und somit auch nicht löschen kann. Ab 1,05 GB mault das System dann rum, das nicht gespeichert werden kann und empfiehlt einzelne Speicherstände zu löschen (was eben nicht geht). Man könnte zwar weiterspielen auf der PS5, ist aber ungüstig, weil ein anlegen von Speicherständen nicht mehr möglich ist.
Es müsste doch möglich sien, die Speicherfunktion som anzupassen auf der PS, das gelöschte Speicherstände Ingame, auch auf der Konsole entfernt werden, um zu verhindern, das die Speicherstände auf der PS derart anschwellen, das gerade auf der PS5 ein weiteres Speichern unmöglich wird.
Hoffe konnte helfen und möchte nochmal betonen, das mir Space Engineers richtig Spaß macht.

I have a Prob with saves on PS5. If the saves going to be 1,05 GB, the PS5 will not do more Saves.
I looked on the on the PS4 Version and found a Prob. If iam deleting saves form Ingame, they wouldnt deletet on Playstation. On PS4 you can delete them easily, if I seeking them under Savegames PS4 an delete them.
This dosn't go under PS5. It looks like there is an Prob with deleting Ingame saves and Konsolen Saves for the Game.

We've managed to reproduce the issue on our side. We've added it to our internal system. We will update this thread when we know more.
As a temporary solution you can use Playstation tools to remove some of the saved data? It's in the Settings/Storage/Saved Data.

the PS5 saves cannot be cleared or remove some saves. The PS4 saves are removeable. I think the PS5 saves are lost and i have to remove the save complete. But, iam not crying about that, its an Beta. I have begun with a PS4 game, i have the Ultimate and so the PS4 and PS5 Version. PS4 saves on the PS5 can be removed separate.

I happen to have the same problem on the PS5 as Peter does, after my Savegame Size reached 1.05Gb its not possible to save a loaded game and even its not possible to start a new game without delete all the existing save games directly on the PS5. Even deleting the game, upload the saves to PSPlus and downloading again doesn't solve the problem.
And as Peter mentioned on PS5 it's not possible to delete single save games, only all at once and so all progress is lost. Please have a look into it, I would really appriciate.

You should be able to remove saves from PS5 and PS4 versions using PlayStation Settings/Storage/Console Storage/Saved Data/PS5(or PS4)/Delete. You can also remove individual saves via that menu using the pencil button.
The issue where deleting saves in-game left them in Console Storage has been fixed in the latest release. You could still have lingering saves you already deleted, so please try using PlayStation Storage to delete them.
We can confirm that the save file limit is 1.08Gb, that's intended.
