game freezes randomly and wont let me go back to home screen or turn off the PS4.

i have had my game freeze three times since i got a few hours ago, everytime it freezes i cant go to my quick menu on ps or my home screen to close the game, trying to turn the ps4 off also doesnt work. all it will do is blackscreen but its still on. the only thing ive been able to do is unplug and replug. the first time it froze i was trying to use the blueprint tab, the second i had just loaded into a world, the third i was looking around in third person in my ship. idk what to do.

Can you please elaborate on what exactly you were doing, that led to game freezing?
"Loaded into a world" - Are you loading into a save or starting new game?
If you are using a save, can you link it to this thread, so I can try it on my end?
"Blueprint menu" and "My ship" suggest you are using blueprints - Does the freezing happens without using the blueprint?
Also if you are using blueprint, can you attach the blueprint to this thread so I can try it on my end?
We are using our consoles daily for a whole day and we are not experiencing described issue at all. I would also recommend checking your console (storage, ...), if everything is working properly.
