Corrupted PS5 World File

Need More Information

Hi, I have a world I’ve been working in for quite some time. I was in the middle of creating my very first large-grid frigate, and didn’t think to save the blueprint regularly…

As of tonight (5-7-25 10:30pm) I was unable to enter into my world due to corrupted files. The alert was stating that I should restart my game and try again. I’ve taken every attempt to troubleshoot and research and ask for help.

- Keen Discord

- YouTube Videos & ChatGPT

- restarting my PlayStation and game (2x)

- uninstalling & unsubscribing my mods from world

- Opting out of Mod.io to disable mods from being downloaded

All of which have failed and have kept me from accessing my world still to the time of submission.

If anybody could help assist me with some hopefully knowledge that would be great! I’d love to not have to start from scratch…I just picked the game up again… 😅

Here are some photos for the error I keep seeing, and the steps I took to attempt to solve this myself.

- mods are offloaded

- I’ve unsubscribed from all mods that I can (4 of them I can’t unsubscribe from for some reason)

>> Note: the mods I offload reload unless I have mod.io consent revoked

- the error message

Additionally, when navigating through the mod.io interface, simply skimming through pages of mods has my game bugging when doing so. I’m not adding any additional mods, but they are exponentially making my file storage size larger. Here’s a video to show that happening:

This really sucks because I’m unable to play the game I’ve come to enjoy.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue.

Unfortunately, the problem may be caused by several different factors.

If you are using autosave or regularly saving your world, we recommend trying to load a previous backup. These backups are created automatically and can be accessed from the Load Game screen for the selected world.

If the backups do not resolve the issue, please consider publishing the world to the Workshop and send us the link to the published item. This will allow us to investigate the issue directly.

Kind regards,
