Unable to convert to ship

I recently started playing Space Engineers (PS5) and I got up to the part where you build a ship. However, when I couldn't really move it (despite having thrusters that were fueled), I found out that you have to convert it to a ship in the "Info" panel of the terminal. I tried doing that and there wasn't even an option to do so. It wasn't grayed out nor did I get an error message, there just wasn't any "convert to ship" or "convert to station" option where there should be (under "Grid Name"). I scrapped it and decided to just rebuild it and the problem has persisted.

Thank you for reaching our portal with this issue.
There are additional requirements to the grid to be able to be converted to ship. Could you please let us know if the grid is placed on or near an asteroid or a planet? Any voxel intersecting with the grid will prevent it being able to be converted.
